Welcome to Wellness by Tasha

Real-life wellness for real women with real lives.
Hi, I’m Tasha—just a woman who’s lived a lot of life, taken a few knocks, had two divorces, survived the drama, and is still figuring it all out (with a mug of soup in one hand and a dream in the other).
This space isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress. It’s about honest wellness that fits into busy schedules, noisy minds, late-night snack cravings, and that desire to just feel good again.
Whether you’re here for real-talk articles, a little inspiration, or you’re just tired of celery juice being the definition of health—you’re in the right place.

About Me

Hey, I’m Tasha.

I’ve been through some stuff—two divorces, a foggy-brain season courtesy of hormones, a few emotional U-turns, and the beautiful chaos of figuring out who I am after everyone else had their turn.

I’m a full-time employee, a busy mom, a woman chasing balance (or at least not falling over), and a firm believer that wellness shouldn’t be reserved for women with matching workout sets and lemon water obsessions.

My journey to wellness didn’t start with green juice. It started with burnout, sleepless nights, anxiety that wouldn’t take a day off, and the quiet voice that kept asking, “Is this it?”

So I decided to take small steps:

  • A morning stretch here
  • A batch of soup there
  • A gym session in 10-year-old tights that ride up
  • And a few real conversations (like this one)

I’m not a coach or a guru. I’m just someone who’s chosen to show up for herself, every day—even on the days it’s hard.

Wellness by Tasha is where I share what’s helped me feel more like myself again: food that nourishes, habits that stick, exercise that’s not for show, and mindset shifts that make life feel a little lighter.

If you’re ready for a no-fluff, deeply human take on wellness—pull up a chair. I saved you a spot.

What they Say

A confident young woman sitting among packages and papers while using a tablet, showcasing modern entrepreneurship.
“Finally, someone who keeps it real! Tasha’s book made me feel like I was having a chat with a friend over coffee—not being lectured by a kale-obsessed influencer. I’ve already started my morning stretch routine and batch-cooked my first soup!”

Nomsa D., Cape Town

Confident African American businesswoman smiling inside a modern office space.
“As a single mom juggling a full-time job and teenage drama, I didn’t think I had space for ‘wellness.’ But Tasha makes it doable, relatable, and even a little fun. Her book is now bookmarked and dog-eared. Highly recommend!”

Lerato M., Johannesburg

“I laughed, I highlighted, I made the egg muffins! Tasha’s honesty is refreshing, and the way she simplifies wellness made me rethink the all-or-nothing mindset. This isn’t just a book—it’s like a permission slip to show up as I am”

Wellness My Way

“Let’s be honest — ‘wellness’ used to sound like a word invented by people who always remember to drink water, own matching gym sets, and think celery juice is a personality trait. Me? I’m just someone who got tired of feeling tired, fed up with the chaos, and decided it was time to figure out what made me feel good again. Spoiler: it wasn’t a juice cleanse.”
This book isn’t a ‘fix your life in 10 steps’ plan. It’s a story. My story. Of failed relationships, midlife fog, soup (so much soup), and tiny wins that helped me feel strong again—from the inside out. It’s honest, slightly inappropriate at times, but always real. If you’re looking for a little encouragement, a few solid routines, and a reason to believe that small steps matter—you’re in the right place.”1

“If that sounds like your kind of wellness, grab your copy and let’s glow through this together.”
