About Me

Just keeping it real!

A warm embrace between a mother and her teenage son in a modern home setting, conveying love and affection.

My Story

Life has knocked me over more than once. I’ve survived two divorces, a few heartbreaks, an identity crisis or two, and I’m currently navigating the beautiful hormonal circus that is midlife, menopause, and mental whiplash. Glamorous, right?
I’m also a full-time employee, a mom, a woman with a loud brain, a soft heart, and a deep desire to feel like myself again. (Who even was that before marriage, kids, career anxiety, and 17 versions of myself?)

I didn’t always care about wellness

Honestly, “wellness” used to sound like a cult led by people who never forget to hydrate and think celery juice is a personality trait. Meanwhile, I was just trying to get through the day without forgetting where I parked or crying in the Woolies checkout line.

It wasn’t until I found myself chronically tired, anxious, and wondering if I even liked my own life that I decided something needed to change. Not in a dramatic, “move to Bali” kind of way — more like, “I’m going to start stretching in the morning and not eating toast for every meal.”

So I started Small!

I created routines that felt like me.
Things that made sense in a world full of chaos and school runs and inboxes that never empty:
Morning stretches that didn’t require yoga pants
Soup batches that made me feel smug and prepared
Strength training that made me feel proud (even in 10-year-old tights and a messy bun)
Protein-based meals that helped me stop snacking on regret
Mindset shifts that said, “You don’t have to do it all, but you do deserve to feel good again.”

And here’s what I learned!

And here’s what I learned
Feeling good isn’t about having it all together. It’s about showing up for yourself — in tiny ways — even when everything around you feels like a circus on fire.
It’s about letting go of other people’s expectations, tuning out the noise, and giving yourself permission to say:
“This is my journey. And I’m doing it my way — with a soup spoon in one hand and a quiet rebellion in the other.”

Why I built this space

Wellness by Tasha isn’t a brand. It’s a reflection of where I’ve been, what I’m still figuring out, and what I want to share with women who are just like me — strong, funny, tired, hopeful, healing, and maybe a little chaotic (in the best way).

This is for the women who:

  • Want to feel strong again (physically, mentally, emotionally)
  • Want to make peace with their bodies
  • Want realistic wellness — not six-packs and starvation
  • Want connection and conversation, not judgment
